Double-Blind Peer Review

This journal employs a double-blind assessment system, ensuring that the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed from each other throughout the review process. To facilitate this, authors should prepare their manuscripts in a manner that does not reveal their identity.

How to submit manuscripts

All submissions to the Universal Journal of Social Science & Economic Research (UJSSER) must be electronically submitted through the UJSSER online submission system. By submitting an article, authors acknowledge that it is not simultaneously under consideration by any other publisher. Authors are required to inform UJSSER immediately if a similar or related article has been accepted or is under consideration by another journal. In such cases, UJSSER reserves the right to request a copy of the similar or related article.

Components of a manuscript

Title Page

The manuscript title, name and affiliation of each author, any current or additional affiliations, and corresponding author address and e-mail need to appear on the first page in the manuscript file.

Paper Title: A title of no more than 20 words should be brief, specific, and informative.

Author Details: Full name for all authors should be given; The names of multiple authors are separated by a comma; Provide the full affiliation for each author including academic affiliation (or postal address), city, postcode, country, Email (optional); If multiple authors have contributed to the article, details of the corresponding author should be clear. Email address is compulsory for the corresponding author.

Abstract

The abstract, limited to 250 words, should succinctly summarize the key findings of the research without subdividing into sections. It should provide a comprehensive overview of the study's major results. Additionally, include three to eight keywords or short phrases that reflect the content for indexing purposes.

Keywords: Include 3 to 8 keywords or short phrases for indexing.

Body Text

Each section of the text should be clearly demarcated with a separate heading and consecutively numbered. Ensure that section and subsection headings appear on separate lines.

Tables and figures

Tables and figures must be submitted together with the main text manuscript.

Result

Results should be succinct and clear.

Discussion

This section should interpret the significance of the results, avoiding duplication. A combined Results and Discussion section can be appropriate. Extensive citations and discussions of published literature should be minimized.

Conclusions

The study's primary findings can be summarized in a short Conclusions section, which can stand alone or form a part of the Discussion or Results and Discussion section.

Acknowledgments

All submissions should disclose applicable funding sources and conflicts of interest within the acknowledgments section. Grant or contract acknowledgments should include the grant or contract number.

References

References must be numbered consecutively in the order they appear in the text, methods, tables, boxes, figure legends, online-only methods, Extended Data tables, and Extended Data figure legends.

Publishing process

Papers published in Universal Journal of Social Science & Economic Research go through seven steps:

4. Journal editor/editorial board decides whether to publish
5. Copy editing and typesetting
6. Proofreading
7. Publishing
